PHRYGIA. Hierapolis. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.33 g, 12 h), time of Trajan to Hadrian, circa 98-138. Bust of Roma-Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet and aegis. Rev. IЄPAΠOΛЄITΩN Nemesis standing front, head to left, holding bridle in her left hand and drawing out drapery with her right. BMC 12-15. RPC III 2358H. SNG Copenhagen 417-418. A lovely coin of very attractive style. Some deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
